OUr story
Fitch Ranch Artisan Meat Co., family-owned and operated is located primarily on the Western Slope of Colorado. It all started in 2011 on a small farm with a vegetable garden, a handful of cows and sheep, as well as free-range chickens, ducks, and turkeys. Fitch Ranch Artisan Meat Co. has grown to ranch more than 20,000 acres with several hundred head of Black Angus Cattle, and partners with ranches that raise animals with compassion and a focus on land stewardship.
Our USDA Inspected meat processing plant, licensed to process Certified Angus Beef also processes Wagyu, Lamb, Pork, and Beef for many ranchers throughout Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Kansas, and Nebraska.
Breckenridge Distillery
In a continuing effort to reduce our footprint, Fitch Ranch and Breckenridge Distillery work together to feed the distillery’s spent grains which are nutrient dense and a favorite meal for our cattle- while utilizing what would otherwise be disposed of in a landfill.
